Serving on a Committee is a requirement for members in the Country Style 4h Club. Committees are made up of an assigned officer and their calling tree members. We feel Committees are a great way to get involved and meet other club members. Being involved with a committee is also a great way to give back to the club. Below is a listing of the current committees. Your Committee chair will be contacting you about your committee.

2011-2012 COUNTRY STYLE COMMITTEES
MOCK SHOW - Committee Chairmen - Caitlin Skinner/Samantha Beach/Shaelee Titus Members: Volunteers – Line up volunteers for various needed positions, call and remind the volunteers a few days prior to the show, send thank you note following show Prize -Make bags of horse cookies and bring to set next to gate Show Buddies – Get 10 volunteers to be horse show buddies, organize them at the show. Organize Baseball cap decorating for Buddies Tack and Clothing Sale - Get a volunteer to sell spots, advertise spots and sale Set Up and Clean Up – Set up arena, office, etc. prior to show and clean up grounds following the event
HORSE SHOW - Committee Chairmen - Emily Auer/Nicholas Boland Members: Judge - Find main arena and trail judge for show, send confirmation letter, call to remind before show, send thank you note to judges following show Volunteer -Line up volunteers for various needed positions, call and remind the volunteers a few days prior to the show, send thank you note following show Set Up and Clean Up – Line up volunteers to set up arena, office, etc. prior to show and clean up grounds following the event Prizes – Pick out prizes for the show Sponsors -Find sponsors for the show, type up sheet thanking sponsors for the pattern book, send thank you note to sponsors following the event, and silent auction items CLINIC COMMITTEE - Committee Chairman - Members: • Set up any equipment for clinician • Clean up at the conclusion of clinic which includes sweeping concrete outside the arena, scooping poop in the indoor, and picking up trash outside the bleachers
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE - Committee Chairman - Nathan Titus/Albert Auer Members: Meeting Set up/Clean up - arrive before general membership meetings and help set up chairs and at the conclusion of the meeting help put chairs away, sweep floor Snacks - Organize calling tree groups to bring snacks for member meetings June Ice Cream Social - plan the ice cream party and games at June Meeting Open Ride County Fair BBQ - Set up a committee to plan County Fair BBQ - help set up/clean up Fun Activities - work with the President to plan/implement fun activities
